- First thing that I dislike is mess food Not upto the mark it's below average
- And second is hostle not that much good

I have heard about this college very much It very decent college According to my marks and cut off I got the best college Yes there are many group discussions and tests regularly There are cooperative teachers who's clears doubt
Course Curriculum Overview :
First talking about faculties they are very cooperative and kind Our course curriculum is of around 5.5 years In which there is 1 year mandatory internship About academics it is good I would say there are treasure hunt and cultural and sports events
Internships Opportunities :
Interships has pretty good life in college They have duties assigned for 12 hrs Which have to do without any holiday And for that they receive a pretty good stipend After mbbs everyone has to do internship for atleast 1 year
Placement Experience :
After completing 1 yr internship in which you are paid 15k per month You can do job as a general physician And can join as MO in a particular district which has pretty good salary Around 50k-60k per month
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are two installments in a year First 6 months 91000 Second 6 months 91000 There are some scholarships available for sc/st but that are for a particular section of people who's family income is less than 200000 per annum
Campus Life :
Life is pretty much good at gmc asr Infrastructure is best among colleges in Punjab It is one of the oldest colleges made it has recently completed 100 years As a city Amritsar is known to everyone There are clubs and many restaurants in city
Hostel Facilities :
Talking about hostle I would say not that much good No proper facilities are provided We were given empty rooms for 42000 per annum fees with no accesories in room except almirah Mess food is not that good It's like you eat to survive

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
