Remarks :
Ambience and college life of amritsar, it's a plus factor for choosing GMC amritsar . Amritsar is famous for street food. Intercollege fest veisalgia happened in october in our college, various workshops are held.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's great Most of the faculty is graduated from this college too, so great experience. University exams are mostly during winters and library is very good. Campus size is also good. Lecture theatres are well maintained.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship facility is available. Faculty provides best clinical skills and hands on clinicals, you can have experience with patients here. Various important procedures are made learnt during Internship.
Placement Experience :
After 4.5 years of study, 1 year internship is available with stipend of 15000 rs which is credited into account after 3months with full amount of 3months. Internship is good in gmc amritsar, faculty is helpful and provides good clinical skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
10% increment every year I paid 190000 fees in first year and fees is paid online without any hustles and paid in two installments. And fine for not paying is 1% for first month and 2% for 2nd , increasing in this way.
Campus Life :
We had veisalgia, our own intercollege fest in october. We have different groups like literary club, music club, swimming club Jamming sessions are held once a month. Library is best in our college. Books are available there..
Hostel Facilities :
I lived in b block hostel. B block hostel has great mess and canteen. Various hostels are available year wise like a block , b block , new b block, nri hostel Sweepers are available in every hostel and hygiene is well maintained.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
