- Infrastructure is satisfactory, campus is beautiful i love it, faculty is very experienced, and campus life is what you will not regret.
- People are not as much urbanised as metro cities people but its not like any conservative city. You can live freely too
Dislikes
- College's hospital infrastructure. Very mid
- Fees is very high for a government medical college
Remarks :
College is good i must say, the environment, greenery, proffesors is above satisfactory. People are very friendly, and uh ragging... its not too much, its just interaction with seniors nothing like torture or bullying. So the only problem i am having with my college is the freaking high fees!!! Its almost double the fees as compared to other government medical colleges of neighbouring states and the internship's stipend is so low its like fudging 10k, tf are you serious pb govt? Anways overall my college is good. Good for me at least. Thankyou :)
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mbbs was my dream thats why i am pusuing it. Professors are all goodies. But you have to learn all by yourself afterall ifykyk. Teaching method is kinda badic (vahi boring ppt style), exams are on time around every 3-4 months, difficultly of exams are on easy to moderate level
Internships Opportunities :
I have yet, so cant say much. But i think it would be okay if not less. As the mbbs is very demanding in the society and you will not be unemployed. So dont think too much about it and do your mbbs and the money will come easily
Placement Experience :
No one will be unemployed after doing mbbs. No doctor is going to be bankrupt. Eligibility criteria for the placement is to be passed in every year during your course and do your intership, on an avergae it gives 40-60 thousand and the percentage of students getting placements is almost 100%. My plans after getting the degree is not planned lol
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So the fees is around ?95k for 6 months, that's 1.74lakhs per year. And the fees is increasing every year for around 6%. If considering you will take the hostel room throughout the course, it will cost you extra ?44k per year. And including other miscellaneous expenses, it can cost you upto in total- ?3,00,000 (?3lakhs) for one year. Saying this all from personal experience as i am in this college pursuing my MBBS (2023 batch) thankyou <3
Campus Life :
Life at campus is sooo chill. Do whatever you want man, play any sports you want as there are every major sports ground and equipments. Fest- tbh fest isnt a big thing here. It happens around in yearrrrs. Library is huge, books are available easily, not much facilities in classrooms, projector is there.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess is good. Food is tasty as for me. Chapati dal rice is on daily list with dosa, pav bhaji, paneer, non veg almost every week. It cost ?40-?60 per meal with unlimited food for a meal i think you get it.fees about hostel i have discussed earlier

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
