- The campus is very beautiful and becomes more beautiful in rainy season . Infrastructure of university is very good and well designed .Faculty is average but some professor are awesome.
- our college is full of greenary and full of trees . A new building is on his way for to open soon for b.tech students for higher studies and advanced labs will be developed.
Dislikes
- Finance department and student affairs department is very slow and does not support too much students for any curricular activities to do extra things. Finance department is less supportive towards the fund for students .
- university does not have the proper coaches for sports and they are corrupt and does not support too much for to play .
Remarks :
NO, I Don't know about this college until the counselling starts . During the counselling process, i came to know about this college but from my personal experience this college is good according to natural beauty , accademic activities , labs are of iit level.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is based on learning and enhancement of capabilities and faculties are very good and supportive in nature in every aspect of life and academic activities but some or very few faculties are not good because of their behaviour and their profession .
Internships Opportunities :
yes , I got the internship from c dac in cyber security . Most of the students get their internship from google cloud , infosys , amazon ,etc companies. And some students choose to make projects rather than doing internship in the companies and it is compulsory for all the students to do internship in 2nd , 3rd and 4th year.
Placement Experience :
last year , there was recession so placement ratio was approx. 40 percent from campus but off campus was more good and it was approx. 80 percent selection ratio . Eligibility criteria of most of the companies is that there should be no backlog , minimum cgpa should be 7 for companies interview . Name of the companies that recurits most of the students are maruti suzuki , infosys , google ,etc. After getting the degree , most of the students look themselves as a enterpreneur.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tuition fees is 170000 for first year and 15000 for second year and third year . Admission fees is approx 5000 and security money is 10000 . And there is scholarship quota based on your rank in jee main and advance i.e. if you have rank under 100000 , you will get the scholarship.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very good and peaceful. Most of here are of friendly and helpful nature and works together in tough situations. There are many clubs like astronomy , aalap for music , tarang for electronics , dance clubs, many sports clubs etc. There are three types of fests happens in our university which are 1. RESURGENCE for cultural activities, 2. saarang for sports activities and 3. Titiksha for technology.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is easily affordable and cheap in this university and mess food is average in all the hostels and sometimes it can be bad . hostel rooms are good and maintained in all the hostels except one hostel but overall hostels condition are good . hostel and mess fees is approx 50000 per year and all facilities are accessible .

Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages.
