Remarks :
Easy to take addmission, it was in my city and didn't require JEE score , only 12 boards score were seen. no exam required for admission. Addmission process is more easy if you have scored good grades in 12th class or Jee exam. Otherwise also no problem. All documents of the student and 1st semester fee is required at the time of addmission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my interest in development and programming, and that I want to become a software Engineer and earn good money. The faculty here is highly qualified with most teachers having a PhD, there teaching methods are also very easy to understand and aimed for every student, some teachers prefer presentations and some prefer teaching on the black board. All the semester and mid semester exams are timely taken and the difficulty level is moderate.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is there for students who meet certain conditions and have minimum credits required for sitting in the placement drive, and have minimum cgpa required. Some recruiter are zscaler, Stmicroelectronics etc. Avg percentage of students getting placed is around 20-40%
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total year wise fee=odd semester + even semester=100000 rs , Addmission fee= 2000 rs, Registration fee = 1500 rs, Yearly 3-4% increase in fee, Post metric scholarship for SC/ST students of Punjab, DRCC financial aid cum loan for students from Bihar,
Campus Life :
Life at campus is not that good, fests rarely happens once a year at max in the month of March or April. Freshers party happens every year for the new batch in the month of September. Talent Hunt and is held for the new batch every year for the students to showcase their talents. Youth fest is organised at the University level with which the college is affiliated for students to showcase their talents and compete against different colleges students. Many different types of books are available in the library including books for each course subject offered in the college and some self study books, daily newspapers and newsletters, extra story books are also present in the library. Every classroom is equipped with a blackboard and a projector. College has different sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, tennis etc. There are clubs present in college which are dance club, music club, literature club, coding club, photography and editing club, acting club etc
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess has avg food quality, the food is not that good or bad , the area is clean with seating capacity for 100 students. Registration process for hostel is also easy with a registration form and hostel fee for 1 semester to be submitted at the time of registration. Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
