Likes
- Library is quite well built and spacious and also there are many options in opting for sports
- Academic faculty is also very well educated. Most of the professors are doctorates.
Dislikes
- Campus life is quite boring most of the time
- Overall infrastructure of Daviet is dull and so is the hostel
Remarks :
College was close to my house aswell as fee structure is quite affordable. Also my brother had studied from this college so he recommended me Daviet because my JEE percentile was not satisfactory to get into other colleges and in my current percentile, Daviet was my best option.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had interest in Coding and stuff from the start so I was sure that I'll be persuing computer science engineering after my under graduation. Faculty of Daviet is quite well educated. Most of the professors are doctorates and some professors have over 20 years of experience.There are also some newly professors but are quite well educated.Term exams are neither much hard nor too easy so difficulty level was Medium.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for any internship right now because I've just started my 3rd year right now and I have approx 1 year left to opt for internship. But the internships that comes in Daviet is quite average. Companies like Se microelectronics comes in Daviet for internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements are Quite average. Approx 20-25 companies comes in Daviet every year. Companies which come for internship is also quite average. Average package for students in Daviet is about 3-6 lakhs per annum
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is paid semester wise. Odd semesters has higher fees than Even Semesters.Fee structure of Even sems of cse is approx 30,000to 35,000 and odd sems is approx 60,000 to 65,000. There are scholarships also which can lower the amount of fees like fee waiver etc.Courses has quite affordable fee and courses other than cse have less fee structure than cse. BCA's odd sem fee is about RS 40,000 to 45,000 and even sem fee is about RS 25,000 to 27,000
Campus Life :
Life at campus is quite peaceful most of the time but somedays are quite fun and energetic because of fest ,tournaments and competitions. Tech fest is held in April- Match and that is the biggest fest in Daviet. Food stalls, competitions, singer etc are the events of tech fest. every book in syllabus is available in Library but just the amount of the needed books is quite low. Sports like tennis, basketball, badminton, cricket etc are played in Daviet. Clubs like Photography club namely Clickers, Bhangra club, Theatre club namely Kalakaars are there in Daviet.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for a hostel here because my house is quite near to college but as my friend has opted for hostel so I know about hostel and hostel life too. Hostel life in Daviet is unfortunately not much good. Mess food is also just satisfactory and hostel rooms are average. Opting hostel will cost 60000 to 70,000 per year. there are so many pg's around the college in Kabir Nagar.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
