Likes
- The one thing i like about the college is that college has a good library.
- Constantly moot court and ADR competitions happen which gives great exposure.
Dislikes
- The hostels are outside the campus so it is not easy to travel.
- The administration is not so good. There is a lot of corruption going on.
Remarks :
There were many factors Location is so beautiful. It is heaven for the mountain lovers. This is one of the fastest growinh NLU. Faculty is so good. University gives so many options like moot competitions, ADR competitions and many more.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because my stream in class 11th and 12th was Commerce. So i was interested in management. Curriculum is good and it is improving . HPNLU is great if we talk about academics, this is the one thing i like about the university. Faculty is well talented and very knowledgeable.
Internships Opportunities :
YES so far I have applied for internships. Our college provides us with many internship opportunities in national commissions, in chambers of well renowed advocates. So far i have interned 4 times . It was a great experience.
Placement Experience :
There is a trend of PPO(pre placement offer) in the university. As it is a baby NLU so good companies don't come. The highest package received till now is 12 Lakhs and the average package is 8 Lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is I want to get employed in a good LAW FIRM.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees - 255000. per year. There is no meit based scholarships for any student. Each student has to pay the equal amount of fees, irrespective of their caste. But now the fees has increased , the recent batch is paying around 3.5 lakhs per year.
Campus Life :
There is no fest conducted in the university. This is the saddest part. Yes after one year , Sports fest named DRONA is organized by the university. Books are availaible most of the time in the library. Library has a sitting capacity of around 60 people.
Hostel Facilities :
FOOD is not so good. There are PG'S nearby for them who don't want to opt for hostels. Infrastructure of Boy's hostel is not very good and all the hostels are outside the campus which makes it difficult. Also the mess fees is increasing.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
