- The campus is very nice and it seems good to spend time
- The faculty is well renowned and professional.
Dislikes
- The bus transportation for day scholars is not very good
- The classes end till very late in the evening.
Remarks :
The factors I considered for admission in this college was it's good nirf ranking . And the admission process is done in several ways like entrance exam , interview and cuet exam. I had prepared for the personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My opinion for the course curriculum, academics and faculties is in favour of the above. The college has focus on the academics Tha faculty is well renowned and professional. The difficulty in the term exams is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships provided in collage are after the third semester and according to the seniors the rate of getting internship is around 94% . Their are not specific tasks of internship but more like preparing ppts and all
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements is to score a minimum of 60% in graduation. The top recruiting companies are Reliance , Hyundai and Maruti. 94% students get placed in this course of this college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees paid at the time of admission for the first semester was 89100 with a 30% scholarship of 18300 on uttarakhand domicile , inclusive of a security amount of 20000 . And rupees 28000 for training and certification.
Campus Life :
The campus life here at UPES is fantastic. There are a large number of books and journals available in the library. There are a lot of sports and extra curricular activities in the campus. Soccer ground , table tennis and gymnasium.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a day scholar , but as I heard it from my friends , the food quality in the mess is fine and the infrastructure is also very descent. The hostel are available at affordable rates in tha kandoli area dehradun.

My plans after completing the course will include trying to land a job in this particular field only, that is laboratory. As well as I'm going to pursue teaching in the future as well. I am also looking forward to looking for jobs suitable to the course.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
