I had 94% in board exams that was enough for getting admission into the college. I chose this college because it was near my house.BTW college faculty is good enough and I am saying this for my mechanical branch as my teachers are very understanding. Just some of them are stubborn
I chose this college because it was near my house and I didn't wanted to go to other states. I chose mechanical branch because my family members were having a mechanical background. Faculty in mech. Branch is good enough. Exams are taken timely and the difficulty level of exams is descent good as you have to study for them
I have opted for internship and there are many companies like Larsen and Toubro Tata steels Hero steels Mahindra and Mahindra Renault Prime Steel Industries And there are many other companies for other branches like for CSE ,IT ,ECE etc
Placement and Job opportunities are provided to all the students. As I am in my seventh semester we are always told about internship and placements. The various companies come here for recruitment process for various branches
As a general student my fees is around 1 lacs per annum and the students were given scholarships based on their quotas like SC/ST even the OBCs had to pay the same amount of fees as us their was a fee waiver scheme that I had applied for and I had all the documents related to it but I couldn't get that and the other students who were from a well earning family got that their fees is around 20 thousand per annum and that of SC/STs is nothing
My campus life is not so good as I am a introvert person. But the campus life is good enough cuz college is always organising some festivals and functions. The college is always full of people. College library is not an attraction as it only has course related books.Sports and extracurricular activities are very well done in college l. There is an annual sports meet held every year in the college there are many social groups run on Instagram by our college and they having websites attached to it like GNDEC iste etc.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
