The factors that made me choose this college was that it's a girls college as we all know how safe delhi is for girls ! And bring in a girls college in Delhi was the safest option I chose . Plus it has all the environment to explore our ideas and opportunities.
I chose this course because I love reading history and knowing about history and how we evolved over time . The history faculty of our college is amazing and another reason why I love taking this course, i totally love their teaching methods, they also take us various historical places to visit in Delhi so that we can relate to our studies. The semester exams takes place during March and December simultaneously. And the exams are not quite difficult, they are tackable.
Yes I did opted for an internship of 10 days in younity.in and it wasn't a paid internship, however if we were good in doing our work properly we'll be able to make money out of it. They basically taught us corporate work there.
The placements and jobs takes place through the societies of our college and college groups for every year we get different links from companies and where we have to give interview regarding the job we are taking and also the societies placement cell keep looking for sponsors and specific companies to come and give a lecture so that we can decide what we want to do .
The yearly fee is as follows: 1st year fee - 20,400 2nd year fee - 20,750 3rd year fee - 21,250 The pg rent i pay monthly is 9000 and my outstation batchmates pay the same kind of money in college .
The campus life is amazing as I expected before coming to this college . The infrastructure of the college is just amazing. However not all classes have ac's in it which is not good as Delhi's weather is too hot during summers, and classes get too hot to study also for the teachers to teach in such a hot weather. There are more than 40 societies in our college which is the best part as we've many things to explore and learn .
I did opted for the college hostel but due to high cut offs i couldn't get it so I have to live in a pg nearby college and i pay 9000 monthly which I not quite affordable but still will have to manage because I have no other options. It's an expensive area and i live in Patel nagar in a pg and i cook for my own as I didn't like the tiffin services .

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
