Remarks :
Oh being an IIT this is by far the best option to study at..plus i heard camlus life here is best among all iits..so i wanted to experience a proper college life so i chose iit roorkee and i gave Iit Jam examination where i secured AIR 468 and i got into iit roorkee
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is not so good ..its very stressing and overwhelming We have to attend classes ...do our homework, attend labs and do a project alternative..so its a lot of work Faculty here is overqualified every professor has done their phds from very reputable institutes
Placement Experience :
Placements here at iit roorkee are not very promising nowadays.. it used toh be 100% ayear or so ago but now its hard to get placed .. however in my course most people opt for phd either in India or in foreign.but yeah some do get placed avergae package from my course goes around 12lpa And highest would be 24lpa Only 40-50% gets placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year fee was 52000 + 42000 and for second year it is 2 42000+42000 . This is for general For obc it is same For sc st it is 24000 and there is some concession to single girl also .. There are a lot of scholarships including aspire and all
Campus Life :
Campus life here is awesome...fests are done regularly almost every two months. Sports meets are held marathons are held every month . Student themselves organise small gathering music jams and many lther things
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel here is amazing.mess food is better than than anywhere i have been do it is very good .plus infrastructure of hostel is fine ..there is always room for improvement but overall it is very comfortable

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
