- University has well planned infrastructure. Everything in university is easily accessible. Every hostel also has a vending machine and cafeteria for snacks . Coffee machines are also available.
- Campus Life not very glamorous as University is situated in rural area with not much exposure. So students have to find a way in campus only for having fun .
Dislikes
- Campus is located at Remote area . Outside University not much things to do .
- College schedule is very hectic. Academic hours are from 9 to 5 and 6 days a week .
Remarks :
Admission process was smooth and online. You will get admission on the basis of JEE score or 12 marksheet. Cut-off for admission is very low so a student with 60 percentile in JEE can get admission. College is located 20 km away from Shimla and 23 km away from Solan. We are in middle of no where . Academics of university is very nice .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum and Academics of this college is very nice and up to the mark . University is very strict about its academics . It has 80% criteria for attandance. With medical condition you get 10 % relaxation. Faculty of university is also nice but not that good . We don't have specific teacher of each subject. One teacher teaches 2-3 subjects. Exams happen in 3 phases test 1 , test 2 and test 3 . Test 1 is of 15 marks . Test 2 is of 25 marks and Test 3 is of 35 marks . And rest 25 marks are given by teacher with include 5 marks for attandance, 10 marks for assignment, 5 marks for class test and 5 marks for class performance pr behaviour. Difficulty level depend on subject to subject but overall it is moderate to hard.
Internships Opportunities :
University doesn't provide any internship but theru provide links and information about the upcoming or ongoing internships. Students have to do one major and one minor project in 4 years of btech program
Placement Experience :
For placement eligibility criteria depend on computer to company. Most companies take students on the basis of CGPA. Placement drives start from beginning of the 4th year . Highest package 2023 was 50 lacs off campus by Google. Highest package this year also 50 lacks offered by Google. 60 percent students gets placed every year .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee payment happens through online and offline mode . Fee increase after every semester by some thousand rupees. No scholarships for any category. Students whose father or mother are working in Jaypee or are connected with Jaypee group are only given concession in fees . Financial aid is not given to students. Students whose parents are connected with Jaypee group only get fee concession.
Campus Life :
Life in campus is nice . There are many clubs which students can join . Every month many different activities like singing, semester tournament, dance, movie night, coding competitions and eSports are conducting by the clubs . JYC (Jaypee Youth Club) is the conducting body of all the events in university. University has a three story library in the academic block which is accessible to all . Library has sufficient books for everyones need. Every classroom has a projector for lectures . Many websites are also run by students for hostel allotment. Attandance registration.
Hostel Facilities :
University has 2 mess . One for 1st year and other for senior students. Food quality is very nice . Jaypee University provide very nice and healthy food . Hygiene is first priority for the university. Hostel registration is a very smooth process and there are 12 hostels in total 2 for girls and 10 for boys. 1st year hostel are separated from the others . University provide 3 types of rooms triple sharing for 3 students , double sharing and single rooms . Triple sharing rooms are very less in number. Double sharing are most in number . Triple and double sharing has same fees which is 80000 per semester and single rooms has 87500 fees for a semester including other hostel facilities like gym and food. Table tennis room is available in every hostel PG are easily available within 3 km radius of University at 4000 rupees per month without food and tiffin facilities are also available.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
