Is JUIT really worth the hype for BTech or just for it's location?

- The faculty is not really approachable and understanding
- Everything is really far away, one needs to walk a lot even for the tiniest thing
Remarks :
there were no interviews or written test needed only Jee rank or 10+2 percentage was needed, the reason i came here was because of the location and wanted to get away from Delhi's bad air quality. The college in itself isn't that good, the faculty is really bad and the food quality is below the basic human consumption level we often find insects in our food.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i was curious about coding from childhood and was dedicated towards it from the start but the coding culture here isn't upto to the level of what i heard. There are really less no. of faculty who can actually teach and help students regarding the same. T1- 15 marks happens in 1 month of the sem start T2- 25 marks is conducted after a month of T1 and the syllabus is somewhat bearable T3- 35 marks is conducted after a month of T2 and the syllabus consists of everything done from sem start till before sem end.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship i opted was off campus which i found online by myself. the internship i did was: Magniit Technologies job title: Social Media Manager The stipend i received was about Rs. 1000/- The college doesn't provide internship opportunities in general but one can do internships under faculty member if there is an opening for the same(rare case)
Placement Experience :
placements and job opportunities are okay only, the average package of job placement is around 3.5 LPA and the conversion rate is around 5%, this sem only a total of 200 plus students applied for a company and the conversion rate was 0.3%. no internship opportunities are provided by the college, only paid internships are provided for the summer internship completion where the student needs to pay the company to do the internship under them.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
academic fee: 1st and 2nd sem: 120750/sem 3rd and 4th sem: 126750/sem 5th and 6th sem: 133000/sem 7th and 8th sem: 138750/sem hostel fees:80000(per sem) caution money: 10000(one time and refundable)
Campus Life :
The social life is somewhat good, we have a good resource department and can find almost all the books we need, we have all kind of clubs that students might wanna take part in but 3rd years are required to leave them if they arent the member of the college team which manages the clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
recently a few days ago we found cooked insects in our food, we filled a complaint for the same but to our knowledge no action was taken for it despite the complaint our college proceeded in their arrangement for the alumni meet and other food stalls were set up and no student went in the mess to eat food because of the insect incident. the menu is changed every month, all day are assigned their respective menu for a month- breakfast,lunch,dinner. the hostel registration is done during the admission process it self and if any student wants to opt out of the hostel facility after a sem they can just fill a form and notify the registrar department, same process for opting for hostel after a sem in this one just payment needs to be made for hostel allocation

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
