Likes
- The college infrastructure is really great there are well equipped lecture theaters, classrooms, tutorial rooms.
- The hostels are clean and the discipline is maintained inside the hostel, also there separate hostel for first year students.
- The college had a big library open till 12 midnight for both girls and boys for self study.
- Vending machines are provided in every hostel for students to get food late night.
Dislikes
- There are food restrictions, you can't carry or eat non veg food inside the campus.
- The cafeteria closes at 11 PM in night.
Remarks :
The college is located in Himachal Pradesh near Shimla. The air is clean and the environment inside the campus is great, the greenery which gives a peaceful environment to study. There are many extra circular activities held in the campus which helps in improving over all personality. The mess food is really good every days is there is 2 dishes and one sweet dish in lunch and dinner, the food is really tasty. The faculty is well qualified and helpful. The labs are well equipped. The college offer variety of courses in different fields.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The scope of computer science engineering is good in future there are more job opportunities. Most of the faculty had completed their from IIT's and their way of teaching using projects and practical is one of the most good thing about the faculty members. There are three exams in one semester T1, T2, T3 of 15, 25, 35 respectively rest 25 teacher assessment total 100 and 30% marks are required out of 100 to pass the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
There many internships offers which are shared by the Training and placement cell during third year of the degree and the stipend is also decent and based on performance the company also give pre placement offer to the students. The company conduct a simple test and interview for the same related to that job profile.
Placement Experience :
Most of the companies have eligibility criteria is 6.5 C.G.P.A with no active backlogs. The main recruiters are Adobe, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, Zscaler offers good packages. The highest package is 52 LPA and the average is 8.5 LPA. There many non tech company who also visit's the campus. My plan after degree is to get a high paid job from the campus itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees is same as admission fee which is 120000 rupees and 10000 caution money which is refundable and there is 30% relaxation in tuition fees for the ward of army people. The hostel fees is 80000 and 75000 extra for single occupancy. Laundry and mess is included in 80000. The college uniform is chargeable and available inside the campus.
Campus Life :
There are many fest organized during an academic year, the technical fest called murios held in last week of february its a 3 days fest and the last day there is a cultural night, the sports event is called parakram its an inter college sports meet in which different college participate in different games such as volleyball, badminton, basketball, football, chess, and esports events such as valorant, BGMI, Tekken, FIFA. The major fest is Le-Fiestus it's a cultural event of 3 days many artist come from outside to performs on stage and many fun activities are conducted by the student body. All the events are organized by Jaypee Youth Club.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is great and the menu is changed every month. The hostel is given on first come first serve basis. The hostel consist of Table Tennis room, TV lounge, each floor has its separate washrooms and water coolers are present in every hostel, also hot water is provided from drinking and bathing during winters. The hostel room consist of 2 study table , 2 chair, 2 bookshelves, 2 storage units, 2 racks with window/balcony (depends on location).

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
