- the course curriculum and opportunities given by college is just so fabulous. also, the environment of college is very friendly whether it's our senior, our professors or our batchmates, no one is judgmental here at all, and there is strictly no ragging here rather seniors become friends with us and are very sweet.
- the weather outside and the surrounding of our colleges is also very calming and refreshing, the scenes of mountains with frequent rains keep the college lively and fresh.
Dislikes
- I don't like the timing of our college which is like corporate time that is 9 to 5. sometimes it becomes very exhausting for us.
- I don't like the college stationary situated inside the college only. despite of being aware of our expensive and frequent purchasing, they sell the item at high prices which I don't feel is the genuine amount.
Remarks :
i was always passionate about design and nift as NIFT is the premium pioneer in fashion college in india. the good aspects of college is that it refines your work and makes you professional in your work. we have 2 rounds of entrance test namely CAT+GAT(written aptitude and drawing exam) and he students who clear the first round are allowed to sit for 2nd round that 3D Model making and creative wrtiting exam. after this results are declared where aspirants with good ranks go for counciling and get admitted. the cut off is never officially declared but it is said to score above 75-80 for good campuses. masters students are asked for GD/PI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
design as a field is very glorious as you invent and design absolutely new things. the course curriculum in NIFT is just so good, we get to know about almost everything through our subjects. we also get to explore various fields with minor subjects and general electives. faculties here are very well qualified , we have artist designers from good colleges and great experience who are also so supportive and easy going that study doesnt feel like a pressure. we have 3 exam namely Mid term, End term, Jury of 30,30 and 40 marks respectively. these exams do require a creative mindset to excel with good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
being in a 1st Sem , I have not opted for any internship till now, but we become eligible for self-finding internships from 2 Nd year and from 3rd year college provides us internships . people do give us opportunities after hearing NIFT as our college because the tag of being from NIFT is appreciated by companies
Placement Experience :
being in first sem , i dont know much about placements but the placements are very good here and companies do hire people with new ideas. we are exposed with various internship oppotunities , industry visits, workshop also which do help us fetch a good placements. the lowest package of mumbai campus in 4 LPA and the average is 8LPA. companies like titan, myntra, amazon, flipkart, arvind mills come for placement offers. for a good package student should have cgpa 8 or above.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
we pay the fees here semester wise in which first semester fee is 183200, then 143000 then169800, then150000, then 178700, then158000, then193700, lastly 166000. where course fee for every semester is approximately 150000. student development fee is always approximately 5000, same as the exam fee. security deposit is taken one time only that id 12000. yes, the fee structure does change(increases) every year. we have a NRI category for which the fees is triple the regular fees. reserved categories students pay the same amount as general but they are scholarship schemes like Sarthak and one more which can be availed by students who parental annual income is 8 lakhs or below. our college also provide loan for laptop
Campus Life :
Nift has one of the best campus life with numerous events,fests and clubs which not only refreshes the students but also inculcate new skills in them. we have 2 main fests in college one is spectrum which is held in every campus and another is converge held in one of the campuses in which all the 19 centres compete with each other. talking about library , NIFT MUMBAI has the best library , better than any college , it has a varied range of resource which is more than enough for us . it believes on quality over quantity and thus have few seelcted books of best content. it has magazines, books and even trend forcasters booklet for future upcoming trends. we have various types of extra cirruculum activities in form og general electives and clubs which is very much enough to keep students spirit high and develop their personalities.
Hostel Facilities :
NIFT MUMBAI offer hostel for both boys and girls. Girls hostel is 550m away from college. its a very huge and beautiful hostel with a very neat and clean rooms with all the amenities. outside the hostel building we have a compound for running, jogging and also a basketball court. Inside we have Gym provided with all good machines , beauty parlour with minimal cost, induction area and even an auditorium having stitching machines also. mess provides a good variety of food but the food is little tasteless. but we get every type of dish like from rajma,chole ,panipuri to biryani noodles jalebi. we have clean toiles also ,housekeeping maids always come for cleaning the rooms . we have both ac and non ac rooms.

All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.
CSD at KKWIEER: A perfect blend of tech and creativity

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
