- The environment is not so hasty and is peaceful and therefore is good to live
- The infrastructure is also good and affordable the things provided here are basic necessities and not the luxury.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about the college infrastructure is that there are too many monkeys here.
- The faculty here is nice and helpful and knowledgeable too.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college was the ambience of the college and the peaceful environment that it has. The faculty here is not so good but the faculty of my department is nice according to the university.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic curriculum structure is like , we have a mid sem examination and a semester end examination with practicals held before end semester examination for every subject. The labs are held every week and according to that viva is also taken for every lab.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship I have done is online and there is a credit provided for every semester for an internship. The student should must do an internship and it can be either online or offline according to there cope.
Placement Experience :
The placements here are not so nice and subtle . My department has a good placement rate and the maximum package is 20lpa and minimum package is 5 lpa here. The eligibility criteria is that a student should have more than 7.5 cgpa then only they can sit in the placement drive conducted in the college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is 141000 , the hostel fee is 20000 and mess fee is 28576 per annum. The college also provides scholarship to students having more than 8.5gpa and top 3 in class for each semester and every degree.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is nice and peaceful especially the fact that it is situated at the foothills of trikuta and near the holy place of mata vaishno devi , katra . That is why we are fearless here and people also here are nice and helpful.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess of the hostel is subtle and the food can also be improved here. But according to various other universities the food quality is nice. The rooms are also large in size and in a good condition. The only issue is of water . As sometimes there is not availability of water and electricity sometimes.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
