For admission in this college, I gave JEE mains exam in which I had to clear the rank cutoff for getting admission in my branch. I chose this college due to a good placement record (off campus). However, I had no other better options due to low rank in mains exam.
The course curriculum is very outdated and has no updates since years. To meet the real world requirements, the course needs to get updated. However, the faculty is helpful and have good knowledge of their subjects.
Mamy big companies like google, Microsoft and adobe visit the campus but they only hire students from cse/it branch. The ece/eee students are mostly hired only by the mass recruiters like TCS and accenture on very low annual packages. The average package for an ece student is around 4-5 lpa.

MSIT has a vast library with a great collection of books of every type. But this college lacks sports facilities and very minimal extracurricular activities are conducted. There are numerous student societies like Ecell, IEEE, IIC, Prakriti-NSS, Eyantra etc. These societies are active and conduct many events regularly like seminars, workshops, ethnic days and hackathons etc.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
