- Location of MSIT is good than other ipu colleges. You'll get good connectivity from here.
- Faculty is supportive, campus life is good and average. You will get some hangout places here because location of this college is good.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure needs to be improve in this college because it's more look like gov. school.
- MSIT canteen also needs improvement and they should add some other varieties as well.
Remarks :
As I have seen last few year trends, JEE Mains cutoff for MSIT has increased and it's 95%ile approx. for cs and it and 90%ile for ece depart. Admission process isn't that tough. After the allotment of this college via counselling, you have to physically report at college and complete admission process. Faculty is so supportive here so don't worry about admission process. (cutoff may vary between Delhi and outside Delhi candidate because there is some reservation for Delhi candidate).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've chosen ECE because based on my jee rank, this depart. was allotted to me. Faculty is so good here of all department. They are well qualified and almost all have done phd from premier institute. Exams are always on time and difficulty level of semester exams are moderate level. If you've prepared on an average level then you will get good gpa.
Internships Opportunities :
I've done internship as a web dev intern role at Codsoft but it was unpaid. Projects include some tasks to complete in which i've to create three websites related to different tasks. One was to create a portfolio, 2nd was to build an expense tracker, etc.
Placement Experience :
Placement is better than other private colleges of Delhi as this college comes among the top 3 colleges of ipu. On campus placement is good for cse, it, ece as many companies visit msit and offers a good package if you are well skilled. Off campus placement is much better than on campus here. I've seen my seniors getting 80LPA last year off campus. On campus highest package goes upto 40LPA and average nearly 8-10Lpa for cse, it and 6lpa for ece. but if you are skilled then you will get better opportunities in this college and can grab more than 50lpa off campus. (off campus highest package here is 1.7cr in 2022). placements for eee depart. is not that good in this college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee - 139500 University charges - 20000 Alumni contribution fund - 2000 Security money - 10000 and some other charges Above fee are only for first year (at the time of admission only) From next year, 10000 security money will be removed from the total fee i.e. around Rs. 160000 will be the fee from 2nd year onwards.
Campus Life :
Fest is less conducted in MSIT. There is one annual fest and one tech. fest which are conducted yearly. Societies are active here but choose right department. There is an interview conducted for different depart. of different societies. Try to make a diverse group here because students are good in different fields. Coming to the library, it's good but not that spacious so that a large no. of students can accomodate. All type of books are available in library and book bank also.
Hostel Facilities :
I've not opted for Hostel. According to my friends who live in hostel, it's good and average just like other hostel. Food quality is also good and not that bad. I've rented a flat with my friends and locality is good and even better in Janakpuri rather than locality of other ipu colleges.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
