The location is very good and in the posh area of New Delhi. The environment is clean and calm. This college has advantage of its location in placements. The admission is generally done on the basis of national level exam JEE Main but there are 10 percent seat reserved for management in which usually 12th marks are considered.
Each semester has almost 6 theory subjects and 4 practical subjects with lab sessions. Teachers have good knowledge of their subjects. The academics are chill and students generally prepare for their semester exams just a week before. The level of questions is moderate in term end exams. Most faculty members are either PhD holders or pursuing PhD.
Currently I am in first year of my college so I have not opted for the internships. The eligibility for opting on campus internship is 3rd year. I know my senior which is currently in 3rd year grabbed an internship in google with a stipend of 1.2 lakh per month and some of my seniors are earning 10 to 15k as a stipend. If anyone is not able to get n internship so they can also do internship in campus with the professors.
Mostly the companies shortlist the students for placement on the cgpa basis. To be safe for placements you are supposed to obtain a minimum of 8.5 cgpa. Most companies visit campus are mass recruiters like tcs infosys wipro cognizant etc and some skilled and talented students crack the vig multinational companies off campus. I want to start my own venture after the completion of my degreeand for my backup I am learning skills so that I can remain employed.
This fee includes medical insurance 5000, branch upgradation fees during councelling and exam fees. The tution fee is only ?163600. University provides various scholarships and also the Delhi government provides scholarships on merit basis.
College has its internal ethnic days and fests and also there are university level fest known as Anugoonj that generally happens in January. The sports facilities provided are not that good but students are doing well in various competitions organized by the university and other authorities.
Yes, I have opted for hostel. The mess food quality is moderate compared to other engineering colleges and the menu is decided generally by the consent of the students. Initally, when I joined the college, the quality of food was very good but it decrease gradually over the time. Hostel seats are limited and are generally provided on the basis of early application means first come and first serve. Each month we have to pay 3250 rupees for our food and hostel fees is to be paid annually which is almost 53000 rupees and extra 10000 rupees is charged as security money. This security money is refundable.







Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
