Remarks :
Actually I was about to take admission in another college, there I have applied for chemistry honours and I have got a seat there But while returning home I was comming by entering Gurucharan college after enetering I heard my name in the counseling, as I have applied here with Computer science honours, then what I have taken admission here
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer Science is a very interesting subject to take No need to study whole night, only logical thinking and good idea required And the teaching faculty are very good And are too friendly while teaching and explaining
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, internship opportunities are there for every dept. They are giving very good Companies and Areas of interest for the students And some interns are directly getting job confirmed with this process
Placement Experience :
Anyone can get a good job or any good opportunity after passing from here As it is the only one best institute in the whole city And Me myself has got a good job after passing from here and also got a good help from the teachers too
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every month we are paying Rs 4500 (approx) Extra tusion fees is there which I am not including And project expenses also there, hostel fees, cocurricular activities caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion Travelling expense also there, if I make a total of all these it will become Rs8000
Campus Life :
Our campus is very big, every type of sports is available, too many activities take place every year, College election also takes place which keep the students engage in politics and help to look for social issues too
Hostel Facilities :
Actually I didn't need an hostel, As my home was close enough Only a 20 rupee vehiclee expense from my home And as per my friends hostel was very good, neat and clean Aslo there is Gym for boys and girls And a indoor sports club is there And the food was also fresh as per their opinion

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
