- The college is totally ragging Free which is very good thing.
- The environment of the college is clean and fully sanitized.
Dislikes
- There is a required in maintenance of washrooms of the boys because the girls washroom are highly maintained
- The break time they provided is very small for the student those you like to play during sports
Remarks :
I choose this college because it is the most separate college in our region and it is very popular for b.com degree courses because almost every year student get a placement in various company last year TCS and Mahindra company equator student from our college and almost every year this college provided placement for this I choose the college for my better life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty of the college of a good they are highly adequateed according to a subject and all the HDR Phd degree holder and assistant professor CAT qualified . The faculty or the professor take regularly classes in the college and provide various tips and tricks restaurant regarding their exams and their helpful for the student.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes the college providing intentional opportunity and I also get this opportunity. The opportunity can get the student whose overall percentage of degree is more than 70% and for this internship the student get payment also.
Placement Experience :
The college provide very nice placement in every year last year the TCS and Mahindra company visited the college and required the student from the college the bite package day offers is 19000 and the maximum package goes to 50000.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college Took 7680 rupees at the time of admission for the commerce student and the admission fees cover all the other fees like exam fees ,lab fees, tuition fees, Library fees etc. and for the science student the fees is depend on the subject they choose.
Campus Life :
The imposter of a college is very good the college is very popular forest wonderful infrastructure and the environment the colleges we build in the 2013 and there are three floors and each floors have 10 to 12 classes and all the classes are well decorated all the equipments like projector digital board and desk and branches are highly infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities :
Ine Gurucharan college there have two who stills one for boys and another for girls that boys and girls hostels are separated from each other and there are very streak discipline among the student to visit the hostel and there is to God they still stand in the front of the gate and regularly supervis who enter the hostel and who goes out.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
