- The campus was very big about 12000 acres which makes the largest campus in india. Infrastructure was little laggy due to yearly establishment of the college (1960) So the building are old otherwise they are good maintained . Faculty are little strict toward attendance and giving marks while checking. The highest cgpa of the college was not more than 9. Average :8.3-8.7
- Hostels are good , faculty are strict, attendance criteria of 85% , when you take the leave you must sign the form by your advisor, warden , assistant warden then you go to your home. There is no dress in this university so you can wear the thing you wear but it will proper no tear or damage jeans no slipper allowed in college
Dislikes
- Attendance Criteria 85 % and the university is so strict to their rules and regulations
- Professor are strict and little lack of facilities in the classroom benches are too old in classrooms there is no air conditioner in classes only in seminar hall
Remarks :
Only you have to appear for jee mains for admission in this college you require atleast 90%ile+ in JEE Mains. Computer Science will be only for those have 95%ile + in JEE. Overall college is good , placement is decent (7-10Lpa). Every Year BHEL come for the recruitment but only for core branches. Agricultural Engineering has the best placement in the College more than 60% batch were placed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All The Faculty are from IITs or other reputed college. They have a high knowledge in their field. There are too many classes from the Day1 or the last day of final year. The criteria is 85% for the attendance. You must maintain this to prevent from course repetition
Internships Opportunities :
For agricultural engineering student the professor of this university arrange the internship for the students like HAU Hisar etc. The alumni network of college is very good so we get the internship for their side as well
Placement Experience :
Placement are decent. In agricultural engineering almost 60% of the batch are placed successfully and afterwards mechanical,computer science and information technology. The rest branches the placement is decent but these 4 branches have a good placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees is about 25000 per semester and 5000 for other(including hostel , internet, sports, magazines, library) + 20000 mess fees per semester. Approximately your Btech done under 450000 with all expenses
Campus Life :
There are many societies in the college ex ETS, VSM , Spicmacay , Ecell ,Sanskriti Chetna Parisad. You can join many of them. The university had many courses in Nahep building in which many courses are offered by top faculty like french,germany, speaking or many other things
Hostel Facilities :
The mess has very good quality of food. Good quality of rice and chapattis. In mess they provide all the stuff like coldrink chips biscuits milk packet bread jam you can take any thing. Morning there is same routine of aalo ka parantha for 4 year daily the paratha was very good and very large about Radius = 10cm.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
