No college life think twice before coming

- You will have zero college life no events no clubs .
- Very bad and old curriculum with no classes being taken
Remarks :
You can easily get admission in this college if you have 80% and above in class 12 (for general) and little lower scores for reserved categories and offcourse no one chooses this college by choice please always keep it as last option or go to any better private institution
Course Curriculum Overview :
All teachers are phd but never come to class and even if they come they don’t teach properly you have to do everything on your own. Exams are quite easy from previous year papers you can get good score but teacher will always pressurise you to write more instead of accuracy very bad thinking of teachers. They will also make you study non beneficial subjects like punjabi english environmental studies etc
Placement Experience :
no internships are provided by college placement is bad as only 15 students get placed out of 100 you may have to find job on your own and even highest package goes to max 7 lakh and mostly service base companies visit the campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees of course is 560000 without hostel but with hostel it increases upto 9 lakhs and scholarship is provided for only sc and st students some can get 100% scholarship and also some scholarship for economically weaker students other than that no extra fees or something for anything once you have paid tution fees everything is done
Campus Life :
Library is very good you can get every book you want but coming yo infrastructure it is veey old like of 1960 and never renovated bo sports or extracurricular activities as there are no clubs you can join you will never get good exposure.Some events happen but never in particular month and they are not much big
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is quite better than other things food is good and staff is very friendly and cooperative rooms are spacious and double occupancy but there are too many restrictions of time after 6 you can’t even roam in campus itself you will feel suffocated

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
