- Good teachers and good staff most of them are helpful
- There is plenty of parking available unlike other universities the parking her is free
Dislikes
- University classrooms for law department are very dirt
- The washroom are totally awful we have to go to nearby restaurants for using washroom
Remarks :
There are two modes of admission offline and online after 12th boards the forms are filled online and in the basis of your 12th score the merit is made and then you'll be called for counseling but if you aiming for this university then it's cool you can get addmission here easily there are total 3 merit list and after that in counselling they ask you about school and family and easy questions they don't reject you. If you couldn't fill form online then go to campus and fill offline form and you'll be considered if there are seats left but most of the time there are 5 to 10 seats available still. Even I got offline addmission but it took one week and every day I had to be available in the department
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are two law choice BALLB for 12 pased and LLB tyc for graduates, during the first two year in BALLB the course was quite difficult and even many students get backlog but the teachers are helpful they help you with that and then after 2nd year you get to know how to study law then you don't face problems, there are many opportunities to attend and represent university in moot court competition you should definitely participate in that
Internships Opportunities :
During last year we had to attend summer internship under advocate alloted by university and it is unpaid internships and we have to maintain dairy record regarding cases and proceedings we learn everyday
Placement Experience :
There were no placement for law graduate but there were and are some good placements for btech students and many of them are getting good package, there are many judicial officers from this university and good high quality advocate from this university who are alumi to this university
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I came to the college the fees structure is semester wise in odd semester you have to pay 32000 and during even semester in winters you'll pay 18000 , but here cheery on top if you have siblings studying in same university then you can save your even semester fees they give you scholarship and for sc candidate scholarship is available but to avail that you have to do lots of paperwork but you can get that.
Campus Life :
There are no clubbing in college, the teachers are kind of orthodox and they are strict when it comes to giving permission for college fest or any event but still you will be making many friends here and enjoy the university life
Hostel Facilities :
No i didn't opted for hostel because I was local, but the hostel facility is only available for girls student only no boys hostel, there were some of my friends they rented room near college and they are better than girls hostel, girls hostel doesn't have AC you may face problems during Summers and you have to be in hostel till 6 pm in evening

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
