Dislikes
- The faculty of English Department was very cool no complaints about them but some of the professors were really onto is and remained super strict till the end.
- They can really use a water purifying RO, this is something I have been hearing and experienced myself. I first heard my brother complaint and then I saw it myself. So yeah they can improvise this
Remarks :
So basically I dreamt of studying English Honours since my school time and looked forward to get in some of the renowned colleges under Delhi University. My brother has pursued his Bachelor's degree in Botany Honours from Dyal Singh College so I knew what kind of environment the campus carried all these years. When my merit list was out, I got chance in Dyal Singh right away and it is nearby my home too. The admission process is swift and the administrative officers are actually helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to pursue teaching field in the coming future, for me being a literature enthusiast, being in this course was cherry on top. The professors are kind and helpful but they are rather strict when they give out assignments and projects to us. The difficulty level of these exams used to depend on the subject and professor.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I enrolled in Dyal Singh College through Merit list, I paid 16500 for the first year, 10500 for the second and 10000 in my final year(third year). Apart from this we had to pay for our examinations separately during the submission of the forms.
Campus Life :
Our library was very huge and it contained around 15000 books, I guess it has two floors and the book I went to find there was available easily The classrooms had good quality of desks, but they could use of window or two it gets very suffocating while the summer months were going on. Extra curricular activities were always after one the campus even my friends work and roll and football basketball as well that I don't know about they were many social groups and club in which the students can take part according to their specific set of interest Is, personally was involved in the JAMINI FINE ARTS SOCIETY.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I love nearby so metro was enough and very convenient to travel with. The hostel was only girls, I do not have much idea about the hostel and it's enrollment process. But from what I have heard from friends it was quite costly.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
