Likes
- The first main thing I like about this colleges the professors and teachers. They are very good in terms of education, teaching and chill. They are very cooperative with us. So there you sleep don't get too much attention on attendance of a particular student
- The infrastructure of the college is very good.
Dislikes
- One thing I don't like about this college is that there are very less girl in comparison to boys in our class there are only 6 girls which has a strength of 76 to students.
- I don't like about our college is they have a very big fest in North India so they end up having travel amount of people in our FCB congested and jealous that in our college in our fest even we have to struggle to see artist.
Remarks :
I want to enjoy life and here at DTU it is very good. Academics are not hectic. We have different fests time to time. Sports infrastructure is good and most importantly all my friends are here so I choose DTU. The only bad aspect of DTU is the sex ratio is very less like in my class there are 6 girls and 70 boys. For admission you have to clear jee then sit in jac counseling and you will get your seat in DTU.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very good and organised. We have very scheduled exam and it's not hard to score good. Mostly professor are very chill even though some of them have done their PhD in Ireland. 1-2/5 teacher doesn't know how to teach but paper is easy so you can pass the exam without their help. Exams are timely as mentioned in yearly magazine.
Internships Opportunities :
I have in township at DTU in which I have been allotted in startup system where I have to work for them but did DTU paid me quarterly around 3500 per month. This is for every student we have to be active on official portal of our college and then and then we have to apply we have interview then we got selected. This year only 80 students out of total friends around 15000 are selected for this
Placement Experience :
Placement job opportunities are good here. Even lower branch students have good package here. The average package last year was 15 or 16 LPA. In which you sing recession package and placement are going good from previous year. Highest offer was 85 lpl last year. Almost 60-70% students get placed at DTU. If we talk about my plans I have to take a job and go for it
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The per year fees of a person is 2,36,700 for the financial year 2024-25. It is tuition fees and also include all other fee that is to submitted to college from exam, medical, sports and anything. There is no fee concession on categories but DTU give scholarship to categorise students based on their income. It is easy to avail if you have all the documents needed. There are different scholarship for sc/st/obc and specific scholarship by Dell given to first year students only.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very fast like you want ngfest root Rex Diwali Mera mostly you won and NG fest organised in February 2nd or 3rd week and Diwali mela is organised at 12 weeks earlier than Diwali. MTS in classroom are very well we have AC is in all room chairs to set everything nearly perfect. Sports and exactly activities on the campus is very good we can play any sports which we want . Even we have a subject additional subject name does vac27 which is sports. There are very social groups clubs here 150 + societies are running in DTU social group.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
