Likes
- I like the library of the college as it's really big and has wide range of books
- The laboratories, our college has all types of laboratories
Dislikes
- I don't like the placement of sport's complex as it's a little far away
- I don't like the pricing of things in the canteen
Remarks :
I chose this college because my brother was already studying in this college as he is elder than me and yeah some of my friends also told to me to join this college as it's considered good to pursue engineering from this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because my father also did the same course, the teaching method of the teachers here is good , they always focus that if we are understanding them or not if we are not understanding they will always repeat . There are two mid sem exams and main sem exam at the end of semester, difficulty level 7/10
Internships Opportunities :
I was offered a internship of digital marketing from my college , I'm unable to recall its name but it was a good and reputative company, ( the fact that I'm from mechanical branch but still got this internship is that our college wants us to be exceptional in every field ) Projects were like - Setting up Social Media Pages Running Facebook Ads
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is we should have more than 8 cgpa in our result of B.tech. Recruiters like - sonalika , Infosys etc Highest package was i guess - 1crore and average is 400k- 500k Arround 20% of the students get the placement My plan is to set up my own company after the degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have to give about 10000 rupees/ semester rest i recieved the scholarship from government as I'm from Sc category, the amount I received is arround 50 k each semester which we have to pay to the college
Campus Life :
Our college have two main fests - GNE Apex , Anand Utsav , which are conducted in the month of October and February respectively. The library have wide range of books , we can easily find any type of books there . we also have sports day , there are multiple sport events on that day . There are also various clubs in the college like my club - NSS More clubs - SAE club, Causmic club etc

Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
