For taking addmission in Delhi University, you have to give CUET UG entrance exam. Exams are easy based on class 12 syllabus. Cut- off varies from college and course. There is no interview rounds or GD.
In University of Delhi,B.Sc Anthropology (H) is only offered in Hansraj College. Faculty is quite good as core subject classes are held in University department not in college. Exams are held as per semester wise i.e twice a year.
Companies which comes for placement are quite good. Many MNC comes which have good label in market like Amazon ,tata ,etc. Placement cell of college is good and well respected,so placement are easy if you have good skills.
Placement offers in college campus are generally for commerce stream students. But other streams also get placed. Placement cell is good. You have to learn some extra basics information about other skills to get placed if you are not from commerce stream. Average package is about 12 lakh per annum.
College fee is about ?27000 in first year and ?29000 in second year. There is slight increase in fee. Fee structure includes all i.e tution fee, addmission fee, lab fee etc except examination fee. Examination fee is to be paid every semester which is around ?1800 to ?2000.
Fest are connected in month of feb- March. Library is good. You can easily get books according to your course. There are more than 80 societies in college campus. Sports society is also ap to mark. Society related to civil services exams are really good.
Hostel is attached to college itself. Hostel fee is about 100000-120000 per year. Which is quite high as compared to other colleges in Delhi University. College and hostel are in north campus. Food quality is ok in hostel.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
