- I like college provide opportunities which have skills and knowledge . I like mathematics in college. campus life is also good and their food court is very nice and provide good food.
Remarks :
I choose this cgc - college of engineering because i wnat to do engineering and this college provides opportunities for placement. this college has also high package placement . but this college has hardly experience teacher after 2nd year . they only teach well.they also dont have good infrastructure and there lab is not so good.admission process is very simple , you just have to go to admission block and fill enquiry form then provide valid document and your admission is done. there is 2 mis semester exam and one external exam . you have to maintain 75 % of attendence otherwise you will not be able to sit in exam. GD and PI is also conduct in college but not at regular basis to enhance student skills and confidence.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the course because because i thought it is easy and placement opportunity is high other than civil and mechanical .Faculties have done their masters degree very well , some teacher also have experience of teaching but they don't want to teach as they are experience . Teaching method is good enough but not excellent. exams ison time there is two mis semester exams which is conducted after 1 or 1.5 months .
Internships Opportunities :
i opted for hackerrank inetership and also doing tcs codevita intership program. JP morgan is also provided internship opportunities which is good . Companies like TCS assenture is also provide intership opportunities of stiphen around 2LPA
Placement Experience :
You don't have any backlog to sit in placement drive . you have to maintain 7.5 cgpa foor better placement opportunity. Recuriters like jp morgan, tcs , asenchur etc and they offer many students .highest package is 45 LPA and average package is 4-5 LPA provided by different companies. 50-60 % students is placed. I want a good company which do work on java and provides me a good amount of package .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid almost 100000 per year . Tution fee is 47500 per semester, there is many extra fees that is event fee like freshers party fee and big event like parivartan fees that is 800 . Registration and admission fee is 11000. there is no development fees and lab fees. There is extra charges in PTU exam form fees which is extra added by PTU .My batch fees was 95000 per year and my next year batch has to pay 130000 per year fees. there is no scholarships in this college and very hardlt financial aid that provided by college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good , if you have good friends than you enjoy. there is fest like Parivartan which is at octuber month and freshers party , aaveg , zest o festa , dj night, janmashtmi, etc. . there is vast variety of books which are available at college library. some books are very less in number .There is no scope in cricket because there is no such cricket ground and there is a basketball court which is good . Indoor sports is good but they are very less in number. There are various clubs or groups like nature clucb , champion club , virasat etc.. there is an erp websites for students attendence and their semester registration but they will charge 500 for it.
Hostel Facilities :
As you are new in hostel , quality of food is very good but after some time food is not so good to eat and there is repetition of foods which irritated students. in hostel 4 time meal is provided. For registraion you just have to fill hostel form at admission time time then you will be assign a hostel . hostel fees is very high as compare to live outside college hostel. There is a various pg and rooms available around the college according to students need .

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
