- I dislike the hostel food and infrastructure
- College placement is not that much good, it need to be in proper way and mainly it occur in cgc campus not in Chandigarh University
Remarks :
College environment and fees are the factors for which I choose thus college No i didn't face any type of Group discussion, Interviews or Written tests for admission. But now they start counseling of the students. There is only one criteria that is your marks in 10th and 12th must be above from 60%
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I have interest in computer science. The qualification of our faculty is phd holder , master's degree holder 2 times exam occur in our college gap of approximately 2 months in one semester. In whole year it is be 4 times and the difficulty level is moderate. It's almost studied during lectures
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have get an internship in L.G company through college campus in Bangalore with stipend 30k. This company came in Chandigarh University. It offers a role of software developer and I make 4-5 project.
Placement Experience :
There will be seperate classes related to placement but there will be not benefit of this teacher and students didn't give proper attention till 6th semester. In 6th semester everyone become serious related to placement there will be proper study in classes. There must be minimum 70% criteria but mostly only sales company offered the job for thi criteria students. But mostly company came in chandigarh university and students have to beat with these students too for their placement. So it becomes tougher
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The whole fees pay according to semester wise before the final exam there must be approximate gap of 6 months. If you unable to pay at the assigned deadline then fine will imposed i.e. 500 for first 15 days, 1000 for next 15 days, 2000 for next 15 days and at last 5000 max, but they stop the students to give their final exam just for this fees. I didn't get any scholarship but there is be scholarship if you entered through IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. Then the fees amount is almost negligible. One of my friends take addmission through university and he has to pay approximately 28k for whole year. Now let's understand it fees structure For 1st sem:- 45k+2.5k(registeration) For 2nd sem:- 45k For 3rd sem:- 45k+2.5k(or ptu registeration) 45k for remaining semester but you have to pay extra for for exam fees it is be 1550 for odd semester and 2550 for even semester. But now the amount is be increased of college fees as well as exam fees. Now it may be 104k per year for college
Campus Life :
Life is college campus is too good because they were organised events or fresher parties, star cast also came there like nimrat Khaira , jass manak, guri, jordan sandhu etc. Mostly fresher party and parviratan(fest) occurs in between September and October Sports events also there like basketball, cricket, badminton There us also 6-8 clubs related to dance sports, photography etc
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel's food quality is not good in menu there and accomodation is also not good. In hotel we have to pay the electricity bill too. Infrastructure is not so good There are 4 hostel for boys and 1 for girls Girls hostel has facility like they have basketball court table tennis area in hostel but they have to move back to hostel till 7:30 pm boys can stay till 10:30 in campus area 2 college is outside from the campus and remaining 2 is in campus

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
