- Things that I like about my college is the teaching faculty, good infrastructure.
- The other things that I like about my college is the amazing Infrastructure with a very good exposure.
Dislikes
- The college timings are way too long which makes our day very exhausting.
- Lesser exposure to opportunities for joining different cultural activities.
Remarks :
The entry-level eligibility criterion for this college is having 60% in the main subjects in 12th Board. The admission process is very simple , we can just go to the official site of CGC, Landran and directly do the registration their itself. Further, we will get a call from the admission department , and they will further explain the full process of admission. The good aspect of this college is that it has a very good and genuine crowd. Also the teaching faculty is well experienced with excellent teaching skills. The infrastructure is very amazing and a very hardworking management. The bad aspect of this college is that timings of the college is very long beginning from 9am in the morning till 5pm in the evening.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main reason for choosing Bachelors of technology in artificial intelligence is because it has a very wide market in the coming days. I chose this major because I saw the rising market of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning in coming days. This college has a very good faculty of experienced teachers with PhD in their respective fields. The faculty is very good in terms of teachings and communication with the students. They use various teaching methods which often includes using of white boards, smart projectors in every class. They provide study materials which includes PPTs , PDFs and other hand written notes. The college often takes two mid semester exams and one end semester exam in each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Since, I am in the second year of the college and still studying, I have not yet applied in any of the Internship opportunity yet. I will doing the Internship on the upcoming semesters in companies that are genuine and well trusted with proper verification of the company details.
Placement Experience :
The college has its own placement cell which makes every student industry ready. Companies like Wipro, J P Morgan, Google and many other big companies visits the college for placement. The eligibility criterion for placement is according to your CGPA, AMCAT score and TPP score. The highest package offered in the college is 52 lakhs per annum and the average package is 15 lakh per annum. Approximately 80% of the skilled students get placed during the placement drives.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees that the college charges is around 1 lakh 30 thousand per year and per semester it is around 64150. The tuition fee is 64150 per semester. The only additional charges that we pay is Rs. 1000 for Registration fee. The college also provides scholarship only for the students of Punjab on the basis of their merit. They also provide certain leverage for SC/ST students in their fees. One of my friends has enrolled in BCA, his tuition fees is 44150 per semester and Rs. 1000 for the registration.
Campus Life :
The college life out here is very interesting and amazing as the crowd here is very good , genuine and supportive. The college also arranges and organizes various events and fests in the month of October and November with minimal charges of Rs.800 for every fest it organizes. The college also arranges different extracurricular activities. We have different clubs where each club holds its own different roles with both technical and non technical skilled people in them.
Hostel Facilities :
This college offers residential facilities for every student who is in need of hostel facilities. There are total of 4-5 different hostels with numerous rooms. Mess facility are provided to the students living in these hostels with 3 time meals which is very healthy and clean. The hostel fees vary from room to room but the average fee of the hostel is 1 lakh 30 thousand per semester which includes the mess charges also. In case we do not a hostel we can also rent Pg near the college with a price range of Rs.8000 per month.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
