Remarks :
I chose this college because I was very interested in physics and I didn’t want to be an engineer. Always wanted to study more and more concepts of physics and Delhi University was my favorite university in all of North India .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well distributed over a period of 3 years and the faculties are very nice . Everyone is very helpful. Teachers are always there to answer our questions and help us with assignments .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for 1st year was 17588 and second year is 18256 so not a big hike and the services are good . The fees can be easily paid using the college’s own website and it’s completely safe. I think 18000 for two semesters is pretty fine .
Campus Life :
Life at Campus is amazing with all the festivals and societies. Everyone is warm and helpful, basic sanitation and water facilities are fulfilled and the food in the mess is also very clean . The campus is always clean and sanitized

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
