i give jee and through NE qeouta i get admission in this collge cutoff is very low 90 percentile for cse and 87-88 for ece and 85 for mechanical and electrical and 80+ for civil and 77+ for FET and varies with caste
Course Curriculum Overview :
course curriculum is good and attended policy is very strict 75%+ and professor were good but strict and no uniform for students. and also in first year very hectic becoz 9am to 5.30 pm classes were held
Internships Opportunities :
not so much internship facilities available here u have to take internships and placement off campus and also their is old curriculum process of teachin is old. and also their is not so much talent
Placement Experience :
placement was not so good average placement not so good comparison to assam enegenering college and jec placem is not so goood like them its upon on your talent campus cant provide you placement only few students get placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
no scholarships 29000 per semister and 7 thousand hostel fees per semister and mess fess 2500 per month and no fees reservation for caste baisis or income basis fees structure is same for all people i choose this college becoz of good environment
Campus Life :
campus life is good big enough to explore and good places and everything you will get inside the camius and also sex ratio also good not sso bad and cultural events and technical fest everything is fine
Hostel Facilities :
hostel semister fees is 7000 and mess fees per month is 2500 and their is so many hostel and so many students so living in hostel with freind gives different vibes and cantten late night also available and hostel infrastructure good

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
