I chose this college as it has a good reputation in the world and has been considered one of the top for the course I have. To take admission in the same college like me, one must give CUET and fill their preference list wisely.
I chose this course as I was always curious to dig deeper knowledge in home science. The faculty is very well educated, most of them are from the same college only and friendly too. The internal assessment are very easy and the level of term exams would be moderate.
As I am a fresher, I haven't opted for any internship yet as currently working on enhancing my skills. But there are opportunities to work in quite a lot of ways like in social media, marketing, communication etc.
Placements and internships are too offered by the college. A good amount of students has the chance to grab placement and internships but if anyone doesn't get that chance, they too have various options to work in.
The yearly fee structure is not rigid. It changes according to the year, for first years it 40k, and for second and third it's 30k. Everyone has to pay the equal amount of money irrespective of their castes. The fee includes the tution fees, lab, fees, registration fees, development fees etcetera, we have to pay extra for some specified books, accessories like lab coat, sketchbook etc...so it's a expensive college and course.
Quintessence is the name of fest conducted here in April. There are numerous of books available to study with useful material. Also, there are societies, total of 15, handled by the students itself. Crowd is good and friendly too.
As I've heard from the hostelers, the food variety and quality is really good. If anyone wants to register, they can go to the registration desk of our campus and fill the hostel form. The fees is quite high, but again according to the space given, and acc to one year it's probably fine.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
