Remarks :
As far as we talk about the college it's the best college in the entire valley with proper faculty and proper infrastructure. There's too good environment for the students who really want to do something in their lives . The Admission Process is not very complicated, you have to pass an entrance exam by cluster university or you can directly get the admission. The admission fee is arround ?12000/. Suggestion:- Go through a deep research about every subject , so that you won't feel any difficulty in choosing the same .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am in the field of BSC CHEMISTRY & there are many reasons to choose a BSc in Chemistry, including: Career opportunities like ( Forensic scientist, Academic Researcher , Environmental scientist) , Transferable skills , interdisciplinary , Ethical awareness and many more . Here in Sri Pratap college Srinagar we get a Very very excellent professor's and teachers as well & as far as of the exams the department of Cluster university does it as timely basis ( Exam level is not that hard ).

For placement purposes I don't the college is good at ,There are few companies and a few students that gets a placement and that too Honestly not a good placement , approximately 20-30% , The Highest Package was got by a Student of IT in 2015 ?16Lakhs per annum . I am doing the BSC CHEMISTRY and I will do Masters /PHD in the same

Campus Life :
Life in campus is like the life in Kashmir ( HEAVEN ON EARTH ) . The college organise many fests , extra curricular activities and many more . > Library :- The library is a three storey well maintained building where you will get everything ( everything means everything) . > Sports has got a major role in our college, we have the basketball field , Hockey field , football field , 2 Cricket Grounds , indoor games and many more > There aren't any social groups , clubs that are runned by the students/Adminstration
Hostel Facilities :
The Hostel is Good . I mean there's a Nice building ( New Hostel block ) , Kinda good rooms with 3 persons per room ( and that's a hectic one for students I guess ) . Overall the food is good and hygienic. You will have to pay ?24000/ Per year + mess charges. > If you don't want to book a hostel, you can Get a pg/room easily and that too in nearby areas like Rajbagh , Bund side , lalchowk , jawharnagar , Mehjoor nagar

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.

Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
