The factors that made me choose this college were the hype, the infrastructure, the management, the environment, the campus life and most importantly it had morning and evening shift so I wanted an evening shift but later i came to know that both the shifts only had a hour difference
The course majorly focused on various coding languages like c++, python , java and can make any student fluently able to create various websites and easily work upon them. Also the teachers are highly experienced and there twaching methods are easily understandable. The exams used to held 2 times each semester on will be the internals and other will be external along with practicals in required subjects
No I didn't do any internship that was offered to me via college premises. I did one that was too through linkedin because the placement cell was not so active at that time and we were supposed to do some summer internship programme
There were many companies that came throughout my course. Companies like wipro, infosys, Accenture, Deloitte also hored many students from different fields. But I would like state the fact that there were not many tech jobs that were being offered, it was either telecommunication or sales majorly
The main was the tution fees that was meant to be paid. There were not any additional charges but there may be some registration fees that held at the University itself . There is some relaxation in entrance marks for the one with reservation quota
Life at campus was quite nice and fun there used to be different fests like anoogunj and much more where there used to be different singers and dancers from the country also there was not any night life since the college doesn't have any hostel so outsiders used to stay in pgs or so. There were different clubs and societies like dance, art, tech, music etc. where children used to take part and perform live which inturn boosted there confidence levels.
There are not any hostels in the vips college if you are an outsider you mist opt for some pg or flat. There sare several phs available nearby in haiderpur village and also in various areas nearby like shalimar bagh, rohini etc.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
