Likes
- The infrastructure is pretty good so that we can experience the campus like so good and also we gets to enjoy the beautiful view of brahmaputra river site from our campus open canteen.
- The facilities are pretty good we get our own laboratory and and better experience.
Dislikes
- The blocks are at distances so we have to walk too much.
- There is also poor adminstration office we sometimes does mistake in our details and we have to go to office again to re print.
Remarks :
I choose this university because they provide better opportunities then other universities in our City. There are better laboratory facilities which helps us for better experience before job and we also gets to do duty in hospitals for more experience.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this course we are taught to learn more deeply about our duties and instruction about the lab equipments and how to operate the lab equipments. We were taught more deeply about the chemicals we use in our duties during lab activities. The faculties are helpful to they taught us well.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes we also gets internship opportunities and also night duties and also we have to visit industries for industrial visit so that we can also get better experience. The companies are basically hospitals like Apollo and gmch.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good and we have better job opportunities then another college in our City. After completing the course we also get our course certificate so that we can we establish aou own laboratory and also gets license to buy equipment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The complete course fees is 400000 we have to pay semester wise and 40000 adminstration fees included. We also have to pay 10000 of security money which will be refunded after graduation . The fees increased last year about 3000 per semester.
Campus Life :
Our life in campus is pretty fruitful we get to enjoy different fest and activities. There is a 2 days fest which happens every year for two days named Attitude fest we gets to enjoy with every department in our university. During the two days fest the first day fest is all about competitions and there will be a popular singer on the evening stage and during the second day there will be a dj.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel fees is 100000 per year and the mesh fee is included and we have the food quality is also very good and we also get to choose our breakfast what we would have to like. To apply for the hostel fees and accomodation we have to apply during the admission.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
