No I have taken admission on the basis of my jee rank General category which is around 2 lakh.I sat for the counselling and got this college at 3rd round of the counselling which is great to me because I don't have any college option at that time.
This the fault of the college.College is using its many years old curriculum which is mostly irrelevant if you aren't into going for core jobs this curriculum can become hell for you.The faculty of the college is appreciable because they know what they are doing.most of them are well passionate about their work which also can be seen in their teaching.
NO,I haven't opted for the internships yet But I have seen that senior got internships with their skills and those who don't get The teacher helps them to get one because it is compulsory for a one to do a internship of three month period.
There are opportunities as you can everywhere where many students have cracked the packages over crores which means that this college provides opportunities for those who are willing to become someone and have a hardworking nature .
The total fees is 150000 per year and their are scholarships opportunities too if you belong to a sc/st caste or you are a obc you can get a scholarship upto 50 %.If you are a obc/ews you can get upto 25%.
I can't say much about the campus life because most of the time in college we attend classes but after classes the college is very happening because it's area is less ,You can always see students here and there which can be good for someone and not for other.
I haven't opted for the hostel But I can say that the mess food is much better than the canteen and the hostel rooms are pretty decent .The rooms are available with sharing of two and the amenities provided by the college is very favourable.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
