Remarks :
No. The admission was merit based. This university is located at a beautiful location. The admission for most of the courses is merit based but nowadays it has been changed the admission is based on an individual's CUET scorecard and they have a cut off every year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is updated and relevant to the course you are choosing. The professors are helpful towards students. The curriculum is relevant and made easy to understand by the professors teaching. The professors are well qualified according to their respective fields and they come from different parts of the country.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship opportunities in this university. The management takes no pain or responsibility to offer internships to the students. Also, they are not bothered by students taking initiative in arranging internships.
Placement Experience :
There are no good placement opportunities in this university. No big companies come to this university for the placement drive. The placement is there in this university but the members of this organisation are not very active and enthusiastic about the placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship for students with high cgpa. Every semester there is a list of students and among the students the university selects top three scorers from the list and then the first three meritorious students get scholarship money which is 10,000 rs into their bank accounts.
Campus Life :
There is no social life in this campus as the students are not allowed to leave the campus without frequent permissions from the authorities. The rules and regulations are strictly followed by the administration. No outsiders are allowed in the campus. There are no places to hangout outside the college campus. Overall the experience is quit dull and boring.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are a great option for accommodation for the students but the mess food is terrible and students mostly eat outside and this makes them spend more money. The hostel rooms are spacious, airy and beautiful with a view and the food quality is quite poor and low. There is no hygiene in the hostel food preparation.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages.
