Remarks :
I was getting CSE in many IIITs and lower branches in IITs and NITs but i chosed this cuz I was very keen to CSE and also the coding culture our college is quite good, and yeah i knew my college won't have good campus life. That's where the bad aspects come into the picture IIIT Nagpur being a new college don't have that good infrastructure due to which college is not good in sports facilities and campus life is dead here
Course Curriculum Overview :
Obviously CSE is the father of all branch in 2024 and yeah greater than AI-ML for freshers becuase no company in 2024 and even in next 4 years will hier freshers of AI-ML and I knew if i wanted to swicth my career in AI-ML it won't take more than 6-8 months. So I chose CSE here. Exams are quite easy except Electronics(EDC)
Placement Experience :
Talking about placements : You need to achieve atleast 7.5 CGPA to sit in the placements. Companies like NVIDIA,SMS DataTech etc generally give the highest package opf above 40LPA Highest Package - 50-90 lpa Average package - 14-15lpa lowest package - 6lpa about 80% of students generally get placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees in IIIT Nagpur is quite high since it is a new-build college. If we talk about it in detail: 1st sem tuition fees - 123000 1st sem hostel fees - 89500(two seater) // 80500(4 seater) Hostel fees includes many refundable and caution fees which covers about 20000. tuition fees is consistent with about 123000 in all 8 sems, whereas hostel fees in odd sems are about 80k and it decreases to 30k in even sems. Hostel in this college are limited due to which half of students(boys) need to book a pg . Nearest PG is about 3-4 km (in ButiBori) which has a good service. Moreover rather than high fees our college alos provides scholarships: state level and national level as well. Which covers about whole tuition fees if you can avail that scholarships. If you are SC/ST/PWD candidates you might get refrained from fiving tuition fees.
Campus Life :
As I said already college life here is not that good because infrastructure is not developed. However Fest are quite good here - Abhivyakti(cultural fest) Tantra Fiesta(Technical Fest) Kshitiz (Sports Fest) and also E - Summit Mostly all books are available in Libraries in quite OK amount. There is a ground being constructed which may build before Feb 2025. So, new batch may enjoy the sports facility as soon as they come over here. Many clubs have been formed in our college but all are not so active but they are not dead as well
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality in hostel is nothing new to tell. It is below average. However , there are many variety in food . we get sweat dish in dinner 4 times a week, and snacks are much better than lunch and dinner. PG which is located in 3-4 km have good facility . they have bigger rooms and have attached bathrooms but have bad food quality as well

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
