I chose Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction and Gaming Technology because I am passionate about learning new technologies and coding. I have a strong will to be a good programmer and I am effortlessly working to be one. Exams are conducted 3 times per semester as two sessional exams and end-sem exams. Due to the high number of students in the college and good quality students across India, the difficulty level of semester exams is quite high. The fee is generally same for the every year. Campus Life is just average as the number of academic and hostel blocks is limited and the campus is under construction. The college mainly organises two fests Tantrafesta and Abhivyakti in October and February. The library is small but has enough books to study and can be issued with library cards. Student runs a variety of clubs and the main clubs are Dance and Singing Club. Hostel food quality is just average and the hostel fee is quite high and you do not get single seater rooms. I have rented a 1 bhk flat near the college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
