From the upcoming modern world point of view, I want to choose either ECE or CS/IT. For the same, I don't have many choices and Nagpur city also impacted some sort. I didn't face any Group discussions, Interviews, or written tests for admission.
I already mentioned that I choose w.r.t. upcoming era of technology. In my college course there are all relevant subjects nothing rubbish like chemistry or something in technology branches. Faculty are graduated from GFTIs and private colleges and post-graduated from NiT and IIT or IIsc.
No, I haven't opted for any internship. Many internships are available in a 3-4th year. College will be able to get you at least one internship at the end of your degree. Many alumni give referrals to students.
Due to concession, Placements and job opportunities are less. Most of the seniors apply Off campus. Eligibility criteria for placement around 7 CGPA. Many recruiters came like Adobe, Groww, and TCS. The highest package was 87 LPA from ECE student. 50-60 I think by on campus. 80-90 both off and on campus.
Initially, life seems boring by seeing the campus infrastructure like not many things on the campus only 4-5 buildings and that's it. But as Cultural fest which is conducted in Feb. Every year named ABHIVYAKTI. Tech. Fest named TantraFest in September - October. Sports fest named Inter IIIT and KSHITIJ. Many groups and clubs are there, for example, Probe for Photography and Crescendo for Music many more are there like the IOTics club. Good quality is somewhat okayish. The menu is good. Hostels are limited as there's only one hostel block so most of the new admissions need to stay at PG and rent a room. 7 heights, Vedarya, and some more.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
