The college had a good reputation and the Anthropology course was only available in this college and also I was able to get into it only in the first cut-off, so yeah these were the reasons for me to choose this college and the application and enrollment process was totally online and no test or discussions happened at my time.
The course curriculum is very diverse and fun but at times also felt boring and tiring. Though the faculty tried their best to kept us engaged in the curriculum. The only downside was that there were limited resources to study from for this particular course.
I did an internship under the scheme of Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme which was proved to be a bad decision as the administration didn't care about our study ours and behaved very rudely with the students.
No opportunities were offered specifically for this course though I also didn't sit in the placements of the corporates as they were only taking people with commence and cs backgrounds. Good college placements are very rare.
The yearly fees was around 23515, other than that there was examination fees for each semester which was like 1000-2000, and at last there was a dissertation fees(a field work subject in final year) which was like 5k-6k which included our travel, food and accommodation in the field.
Very bad life at campus, it's just a place for rich brats to show off and be as mannerless as they can. Not to mention the illegal PGs and the high charges that PG and flat owners charge along with the brokerage.
No, there is almost nil chance for hostel allotment for the ncr students, and another blunder is the reservation criteria, however few of my mates got hostel but they left it very soon as the experience wasn't good as well

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
