- I loved the campus very much as it was very huge about 470acres and is very clean
- Faculty in the college is also well educated
Dislikes
- I didn’t like the facilities that were given in the college as they were not upto the mark
- Some faculty member try to fail you due to personal grudges
Remarks :
I got admission on the basis of 12th class percentage. Campus is big and clean nice atmosphere but you will get bored after 1 week of staying because the university is located in somewhat a backward area
Course Curriculum Overview :
Exams are taken on time with proper academic calendar and difficulty level of exam is medium faculty of my course are highly educated as they were graduates from IIT and one faculty member is the top 2% scientist
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for internship and all of them were without stipend but they were under government projects so the value of my internship holds good and various students were sent to IIT for internship of about 2 months
Placement Experience :
Average package is around 4-4.5 lakhs per annum and the eligibility of placement is only valid to the stream that you are in you can’t sit in the placement program of other streams various companies like jsw accenture wipro bosch l&t have cone for placement highest package is about 9-10 lakhs very less number of students gets placed and very less students opts for placement due to less packages
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee is about 1,49,00 annual fee is 10,000 and both hostel and mess are about 52000. This is yearly fee structure. Scholarships are also available if come top 5 in your class every semester you can get scholarship
Campus Life :
There are lot of clubs fest performed are less and library of university is good with every book available to issue and read you can take parts in sports activities also because of various tournaments held in campus as there are basketball courts tennis court football field and also playground for cricket
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel given to boys when they come to university in 1st year is Basohli hostel which is good in infrastructure and mess quality but after 1st year hostel changes and the quality is not the same food quality is poor

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
