- Faculty is very supportive for students who are willing to do something great in their life and yes for those students also who are introvert and less interactive in class faculty and staff provide equal opportunities to everybody
- The campus life is very good at cgc landran because of regular happening fests .
Dislikes
- Infrastructure the campus is not so big of cgc landran it is limited in terms of space but on the other hand the infrastructure is attractive and the owners are working on it very hard
Remarks :
First of all the number of students is very less in every course , very limited only the criteria followed is your percentage in class 12 and 10. It should be above 75 % only then you are eligible for addmission i have not seen any bad aspects of my college yet though i have been in this college for 3 years. other colleges and universities have thousands of student in every branch but in our college there is only near about 500 students in branch popularlike cse
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing btech in cse because of growing phases of this branch having number of jobs in it which makes easier for every student to survive in a good IT company . Now the point is teachers and faculty Faculty is well educated and highly qulified , having a lot of experience interact with students on ground level . Cgc landran is affiliated with punjab technical university so the question papers , semester only work according to that university .
Internships Opportunities :
We have to do internship after 2nd year every and each student have to go for it for 6 weeks . Companies are like thinknext ,tcilit or any other big company ,every students have to show thier projects and research papers on which they have done internship .
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is offered to each and every student who is capable of that . In our college there is separate classes for the placements for every course theyy teach different skills in that such as technical skills and soft skills which makes it easier for every student to crack placement exams . Highest package of this year is around 52 lakh per annum and the average package offered is 8-10 lakhs per annum some famous and often visiting recruiters are inofoysys , oracle ,mahindra etc around 70-80% students get placed from the campus only only those students who are not capable of getting placed or some are who want to go for masters are left .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am paying 47500 per semester but now fee structure has been changed and updated it is around 70000 per semester for new enrollements but 70k is also not a big charges to pay for such a valuable course like btech all fees are included in the total semester fee only examination fees has to be payed by the student every semester before examination , according to me their is no such scholarship criteria is there niether on the basis of scholarship nor on merit . The course like btech is very affordable from cgc landran as compared to other high qulaified colleges.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is chill . And most importantly the place like chandigarh where you can enjoy life very nicely . Chandigarh is very well developed city students can reach their easily all the facilties are there such as shopping markets ,malls ,cinema, clubs,lakes,ets So many fests held their like on the regular basis and the biggest fest occur in the month of november near to the diwali its the biggest fest of punjab technical university it lasts for 2 days in which very famous singers are called for concerts and for students there are so many dj nights .library have so many books have large library .classrooms have projectors teachers usually teach on them only . Hostel Facilities :
I was in hostel for the starting 2 years this year only i shifted outside because of my personal issues, food quality and quantitiy is best i havr ever seen or listen hostel is quite affordable for every student who is middle class localtiy is very nice you can easily get room and pgs there

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
