I randomly opted for this college. I never heard about it before . All i knew about was some mainstream colleges of DU , then later i got to know venky is also a mainstream college. Like its the best in south campus imo. Also i wanted a coed college so it was a win win situation. The admission process was easy at that time because we were not having cuet . It was on percentile/ percentage/ cgpa based admission and we did not need to give any exntrance. But now if you want admission youll have to give entrance called cuet for both ug and pg courses. Cut offs depend honestly, every year it’s different but there’s not that much difference. Luckily i did not had to prepare for any entrance that time.
I wanted English hons honestly, but then for some reason i chose Hindi because it was my second option. The course is good and is not as easy as the other department students make you feel about it. The faculty was good and i did not find the exam difficulty level that much higher . If you give a thorough read on topics then studying 3-4 days before exams would also work.
No I haven’t opted for any internships as i think most of them are unpaid. And some of them would not even add value in my cv so why should i waste my time doing such internships . College internships are just a burden to me
Placement and jobs opportunities will depend on course to course and skill to skill honestly. I haven’t indulged in this so i dont have any idea about it. But you can go to our college website tho. It all available there .
It totally depended on sem to sem . And i dont know if it was related to category wise. And and for every 2 combined sems we had to pay different fees . Like for 1sem and 2sem it was 12k or something at first then for 3rfd and 4th it was different i don’t precisely remember the amount tho.
I did not liked the campus life as it was all full of selfish people. Trust me if you’re a nice person and have a giver kind of mentality these people are not just for you and not good for your mental health. I might sound rude but yeah this is what i experienced so i chose chose not to go regularly. I skipped so many days just to avoid such people. But if you’re someone who just wanna have the vibe of college life you all will like it. Just don’t build deeper connections with them lol you’re gonna regret . These college life friendships are a myth. It aint 2017-18 so ykwim. But rest the fests in this college are the best. I mean i liked it because they called Mohit chauhan this year and that is the only thing that made me happy lol. For sports people its a win win college go for it.
I did not opted for hostel . Id suggest you to take pg or rent. It is far more better than to stuck in a hostel with absolutely no life specially if you want less drama and more peace in your life . Dont go for sharing rooms lol

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in .
