When I was in my college, the main criteria for admission were 12th percentage. Currently the admission is done on the basis of CUET examination. This examination generally requires the knowledge of class 11th and 12th. The questions are multiple choice and one option is correct. The questions are generally basic and can be done with less preparation also. I chose this college due to its affiliation in delhi university. It is a big name and is in North campus. The college has some big alumni and has a diverse crowd. The courses are good and it is affordable also.
The course curriculum consists of practical and theory courses. Some professores are very nice and can provide you with good knowledge. All th facilities have a PhD in different specializations. They approach a good teaching method and provide timely assesments and exams. The professors are humble and provide good feedback and suggestions for future. The lab facilities are also good with equipments available and teaches you a lot. The students are divided into groups and it promotes a team spirit in students. It is a great environment for students and student teacher relationship is good.
Yes, I opted for internships regarding education and content writing. There are various societies that provides opportunities for growth and development. The first opportunity was from NSS in which we used to go and teach underprivileged children under padhaku scheme. The content writing internship was for a club in which I had to write prompts for events and reports for them.
The placements and job opportunities in my college were generally for bachelors in commerce students. Companies used to come into the campus and interviews and group discussions were taken. There is a placement cell that prepares students for these rounds and notified them ahead of time. I prepared for my master's from iit and gave exams for postgraduate admission. There are a lot of students who prepare for this exam. The syllabus of these exams is generally from the syllabus of the course taken. I prepared for exam and cleared it. Many students from the campus clean it in the first try.
There is a tution fee that is minimal in the college. All the expenditures including tution fee, fees for fest and all other commodities came out to be 23,400 yearly. This is to be paid once and there are no other fees applicable or taken. There is one scholarship that is provided to students having good percentage in class 12th. It is 12,000 per month and is issued by the central government. The registration fees for every semester exam differs from course to course. It depends on the courses taken in the form of theory and practical. Courses with practicals require more fees generally and is collected while submitting forms for end semester exams.
There are a lot of people that come from different backgrounds. They are very humble and provide a different perspective everytime. The people are non judgemental and are unique in their own ways. They are welcoming and friendly. The seniors also help out a lot and provide timely response to our questions. It is a great environment promoting equality. There are a lot of clubs highlighting different arenas from dance, music to ngos and others. It is a great boost to your cvs and consist of a large variety of people. The college provides a great opportunity to make connections for future. There are various fests and sports events like khelo Hansraj also organised every year
I have rented a pg around the campus. It was in kamla nagar. The registration process requires a security to be provided for the first month during registration with the rent for first month. The security is refundable and is given after you leave it. The mess is sometimes inside the pg and provides food with the accomodation. The mess food is sometimes bad but is affordable and reliable. The rooms are single, double and triple sharing with varying costs respectively.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in .
