I got into this college through CUET exam. I wrote 6 subjects i.e. Eng + PCM + General test and Computer science. And after that i filled a preference list for that and got into this college. The whole procedure is very simple to get through.
I choose this course because it matches the curriculum with engineering, Although I wanted the CS major but didn't get it due to lack of marks. Faculty here is pretty decent and supportive. They are highly qualified teachers. Teaching method is like the old school type. Term exams are held at end of semester and mid sem tests are held after 2 3 months of semester. If are studying properly then the difficulty level is not that much one can easily clear the exams.
For science courses, there is lack of placements as very less companies hire B.Sc Students But if you're from B.com/Eco background then there are plenty of chances to bag some placements. Even the highest placement from this college is from B.com.
The fees is submitted before the starting of the year and its 32000 only for the whole year as it's a government University hence the fees is quite lower. The extra fees occurs during end semester exams which ranges between 1000-2000 depending upon the course as some courses needed labs and hence the extra cost for labs. Scholarships are available in the colleges but you have to be very relevant to the notices when it is getting released or not. And as of now the fees is not increasing much. It's the same since lockdown.
This is the best segment of the college. The social life is extremely good here. Various numbers of clubs are here for every activity and group. This college have NCC too. The library is also well maintained and upto the curriculum.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
