The factors that made me choose this college was that it was a good college for girls. The faculty members were friendly.Their teaching methods were so good. The college had a good infrastructure which us a way very important. When i took admission in this college it was based on 12th marks and the criteria at that time was 55%.But now it has a separate exam for admission.
I those my course that is Bachelors of Arts because i was interested in english literature as i love poetry and novals. And yes the most important reason of choosing this course was my dream that is to crack upsc . The faculty was highly qualified and their teaching methods were amazing. There were overall four exams in a year that is per semester two one internal exams and one external exams. We faced quiet difficulty as within months we had to prepare for exams but it was manageable.
Yes after completing my college i opted for doing masters degree in english literature as i did a arts course so there were no pllacements for this. In my college at my time of degree there were no placements available at that time.
From our college at that time there were no placements. So my plan after completing my degree was to do masters in english literature and along with that to study for upsc. After completing the masters degree to give my all time for my dream job.
My degree was completed in 27000rupees as it was a three year degree. Per year it was 9000rupees and per semester it was 4500 rupees as in one year there were two semesters and overall six semesters.Along with this i had to pay the examination fee which was approx 1200rupees per semester. Overall my degree was affordable.
Life at campus was good.My campus life is full of memories and experiences. A lot of curriculum activities were held at my college many festivals were celebrated.Republic day , independence day, diwali, holi many more were celebrated. Sports activities too were held in the campus.
Yes i opted for a hostel. It was the best experience of my life living un the hostel which felt like a home. The infrastructure of hostel was good and well furnished. The hostel mell was neat and clean and provided the best hygenic food. For hostel we need fill the form and according to our 12th marks we get the hostel.
For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro, infuses, bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.
Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
