- The faculty is really helpful which makes our life a little easy
- The surroundings of our college is really safe and good.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is just miserable and not at all eatable
- The toilets are beyond usable and hygiene issues are there too
Remarks :
The cutt off of our college is really low and honestly it's not that hard to get into it. I got this college because i messed up my preference list (i scored 692 in cuet and considering i belong to OBC caste i could've gotten much better college) and therefore it should be made carefully. I scored marks in cuet with self study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well my department which is department of commerce is really good and i even like it. I don't know much about other department so can't say the same for them. The faculty aside from everything is really helpful.
Internships Opportunities :
No i have not opted for an internship yet. but when the there will be an internship available i will surely apply to it as i am a 1 year student and only semester 2 or 2 yea students can apply for the internship
Placement Experience :
There are many internship opportunities available for the students but the college doesn't provide placements. Intership opportunities are there with bugger institution and companies which gives us students insight on the real world.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of our college is around rupees 15000 per year. Considering the fees of other colleges of Delhi University it is kind of acceptable. There is no deduction in fees for students who are from lower caste etc.
Campus Life :
There's not much to the social or campus life in our college. There are not many fests and events held which is kinda boring. The library is also not that big and all. And there are just 3 social groups in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college doesn't have a hostel which makes us students life more harder to find a pg and all. There are many pgs available in the area but not many of them are good or affordable. Though there is construction going on in the college for the hostel

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
